I hope you enjoy my little piece of calm in the midst of the chaos of life.
This was GREAT!!! I love the slideshow idea! Your kids are absoluetly beautiful! And there you are - is that a cake - yummy! LOL!!!!
Mom, I thought it was great.
Precious! Does your older daughter keep a blog? Millie Mae on my sidebar is my daughter's... your girls may like to do one together?Hilda Rebecca
Kate,We found most of our Trixie Belden at Thrift stores and on alibris... or they were given to us. Amelia want's to collect all 32! Only the first six were written by the original author, I think.... The new publishers thought that Trixie was too good and too much concerned with obeying her parents! Imagine that! With Nancy Drew, only the first ones are good, too... somewhere around 36 or so, they are 'inspired by' the original author... what the means is now Ted is a full-fledged-kiss-me-goodnight-boyfriend.... where before, they were just good friends. And Nancy is described as pretty and wealthy... where Trixie is you normal looking middle class girl. There are a couple Trixie Belden websites that are fun... one compared Belden and Drew... what they said *sold* Amelia and she is attatched to Trixie...she even wants a wardrobe like Trixie (we have been learning to sew from vintage patterns, so that is why she talks about it!) Anyway, I am going to try to put my e-mail on my sidebar for the future... sorry this comment is so long! I may ask Amelia to do a post comparing Nancy and Trixie...Hilda Rebecca
